Can't log in to VPort
There are several common reasons you might be unable to sign in to your VPort account. Try the troubleshooting steps below to get back in quickly.
Common causes
- Wrong email address: Make sure you are entering the exact email you used when you created your account. Even a small typo will prevent login.
- Caps Lock is on: Passwords are case-sensitive, so double-check that Caps Lock is not enabled on your keyboard.
- Expired or forgotten password: If your password is no longer working, it may need to be reset.
- Too many failed attempts: After several incorrect login attempts, your account is temporarily locked for security. Wait at least 15 minutes before trying again.
Steps to regain access
- Visit thevport.com/reset-password and enter the email address associated with your account.
- Check your inbox (and your spam or junk folder) for the password reset link.
- Follow the link to create a new password. The link expires after 15 minutes, so act promptly.
Using social login
If you originally signed up with Google or Apple, make sure you are clicking the correct social login button on the sign-in page. You will not be able to log in with an email and password if your account was created through a social provider.
Additional tips
- Clear your browser cache and cookies, or try logging in from a private or incognito window.
- If you are using the VPort app, make sure it is updated to the latest version.
- Try a different browser or device to rule out a local issue.
