Promo code not working

Promotional codes are a great way to get credit toward VPort events, but they sometimes fail to apply. Here are the most common reasons a promo code might not work and what you can do to fix it.

Double-check the code

  • Spelling matters: Promo codes are case-sensitive. Make sure you are entering the code exactly as it was provided, including any capital letters, numbers, or special characters.
  • No extra spaces: Copy-pasting a code can sometimes add invisible spaces before or after it. Try typing the code manually instead.

Confirm the code is still valid

  • Expiration date: Many promo codes have an expiration date. If the promotion has ended, the code will no longer work.
  • One-time use: Some codes can only be used once. If you have already redeemed it, it cannot be applied again.
  • New accounts only: Certain promotions are limited to first-time VPort users. If you have an existing account, the code may not be eligible.

How to apply your code

  1. Log in and go to thevport.com/wallet.
  2. Look for the Redeem Code section.
  3. Enter your promo code and click Apply.
  4. If the code is valid, the credit will be added to your wallet balance immediately.

Partner and event codes

If you received a code from a partner organization or at a specific event, it may be restricted to certain regions or audiences. Check any terms and conditions that came with the code for details.
