Can I use screen-mirroring or AirPlay?

No. Screen-mirroring and AirPlay are disabled for all VPORT content. This restriction is in place for two important reasons.

Content protection

VPORT works with artists, labels, and venues who entrust the platform with their creative work. Disabling screen-mirroring and AirPlay helps protect their content rights and prevents unauthorized redistribution of paid material.

Quality and experience

Spatial and Immersive content on VPORT is designed to be rendered natively on the headset. If you were to mirror this content to a flat screen via AirPlay, the 3D and spatial effects would be completely lost. The experience would be degraded to a flat, distorted image that does not represent what the creator intended. By requiring native playback, VPORT ensures that you always experience content the way it was meant to be seen.

How to watch VPORT content

For the full experience including Window, Spatial, and Immersive modes, use the official VPORT app on Apple Vision Pro. This gives you access to all playback modes and the highest quality rendering.

If you want to watch on other devices, the VPORT web player at thevport.com supports Window mode on desktop and mobile browsers. While you won't get the spatial or immersive effects on a flat screen, Window mode still delivers high-quality video playback for compatible content.

The VPORT app is also available on iPhone and iPad for Window mode playback through the App Store.
