What's the minimum internet speed required?

VPORT does not currently publish one minimum bandwidth number that guarantees browser, spatial, stereo, 180-degree, and 360-degree playback. Required throughput varies with the event rendition, while Wi-Fi stability, latency, packet loss, and other traffic can matter as much as a speed-test result.

For reliable playback:

  • Use a stable broadband connection and strong Wi-Fi signal.
  • Stop large downloads, calls, or other streams on the same connection.
  • Keep the browser, visionOS, and VPORT client current.
  • Try another event to determine whether the issue is specific to one rendition.

If playback repeatedly buffers, include the event, device, browser or VPORT version, network type, approximate time, and a same-device speed-test result in a VPORT Support conversation. The speed test is diagnostic context, not a guarantee.
