My promo code isn’t working. What should I do?
Promo codes can sometimes fail for a few common reasons. Before reaching out to support, walk through the steps below to troubleshoot the issue yourself.
How to Redeem a Code
Go to thevport.com/wallet and click the "Redeem Code" button. Enter your promo code in the field provided and submit it. If the code is valid, the credit or discount will be applied to your wallet immediately.
Common Reasons Codes Fail
Spelling or formatting errors. Promo codes are case-sensitive, so make sure you enter the code exactly as it appeared in the email, advertisement, or promotion where you received it. Copy-pasting the code directly is the safest approach.
Expired codes. Every promo code has an expiration date. Check the original email or promotional material to confirm the code is still valid.
Usage restrictions. Some codes come with specific limitations. They may be restricted to new accounts only, limited to one-time use per account, or available only in certain regions. Partner event codes sometimes require a minimum top-up amount before the promo credit applies.
If the Code Still Does Not Work
Take a screenshot of the error message you see when entering the code. Then submit a support ticket at thevport.com/support with the following information:
- The exact promo code you are trying to use
- A screenshot of the error message
- Where you received the code (email, event, social media, etc.)
The support team will verify the code and either apply the credit manually or explain why it cannot be redeemed.
