What does “billing per minute” mean?
VPORT uses a pay-per-minute billing model instead of charging a flat fee for each event. This means you only pay for the time you actually spend watching, giving you full control over your spending.
How It Works
When you start watching an event, billing begins after the first 30 seconds of playback. Those initial 30 seconds serve as a free preview, so you can check the stream quality and decide whether you want to continue. If you stop watching within that window, you will not be charged anything.
Once billing starts, you are charged by the minute based on the per-minute rate listed on the event page. Your wallet balance updates in real-time as you watch, so you can monitor your spending at any time by visiting thevport.com/wallet. When you stop watching, billing stops immediately — there is no commitment to stay for the full duration of an event.
Why Per-Minute Billing
This model is designed to give you flexibility. Instead of paying a fixed price for a single event and hoping you enjoy it, you can sample multiple events and only pay for the time you spend on each one. If a show does not match your expectations after a few minutes, you can leave and try something else without losing money on an upfront ticket.
Free Content
Not everything on VPORT costs money. Some content is completely free and is marked with a "Free" label in the Portal. You can watch these events without any wallet balance at all.
Per-minute rates vary by event and are always displayed on the event page before you hit play, so there are never any surprises.
