How do I upload my first video?
Uploading your first video to VPORT is a straightforward process. Follow the steps below to get your content live and ready for viewers.
Step 1: Access the Creator Portal
Log in to the Creator Portal at thevport.com/creator. This is your central hub for uploading, managing, and tracking all of your content on VPORT.
Step 2: Upload your file
Click the Upload button and select your file. VPORT supports the following formats: MP4, MOV, MV-HEVC, and ProRes. The maximum file size depends on your creator tier. Keep in mind that 360-degree files can be very large, so a stable internet connection is recommended to avoid interruptions.
Step 3: Add metadata
Fill in the required details for your video: title, description, genre, venue, and date. Good metadata helps viewers discover your content and improves its visibility across the platform.
Step 4: Configure playback and visibility
Choose your playback mode hints -- Window, Spatial, or Immersive -- to tell the platform how your content is best experienced. Then set the visibility to Public, Unlisted, or Private depending on your needs.
Step 5: Set pricing
Decide whether your content will be Free or Pay-per-minute. Pay-per-minute content earns revenue based on how long viewers watch.
Processing time
After you submit your upload, processing typically takes between 15 and 60 minutes depending on file size. You will receive a notification when your video is ready.
