Who can become an artist on VPort?

VPORT is open to a wide range of creators in the music and live entertainment space. Whether you are a solo performer, part of a band, a record label, a venue, or a production team, you can apply to become a creator on the platform.

How to apply

Visit thevport.com/creator to submit your application. The process is simple and only requires basic information about you and the type of content you plan to upload.

Requirements

The primary requirement is that you must hold the legal rights to the content you upload. This means you either own the material outright or have the necessary licenses and permissions to distribute it on VPORT. Content that infringes on the rights of others will be removed, and repeated violations may result in account suspension.

Approval timeline

Applications are typically reviewed and approved within 2 to 3 business days. You will receive an email notification once your account has been approved.

Getting started after approval

Once approved, you can immediately begin uploading content, setting your pricing (Free or Pay-per-minute), and earning revenue through the 50/50 revenue share model. Your Creator Portal at thevport.com/creator gives you access to upload tools, analytics, and payout settings.

You do not need professional recording equipment to get started. iPhone spatial video is fully supported and works great for Tier 1 content. As you grow, you can explore higher-fidelity capture methods to unlock the full potential of Spatial and Immersive playback modes.
