My revenue or view stats look wrong
If your revenue or view statistics on VPORT seem inaccurate, there are several common explanations and steps you can take to resolve the issue.
Stats may be slightly delayed
VPORT updates stats in near real-time, but during periods of peak traffic, numbers may lag by up to 5 minutes. If you just published content or are experiencing a spike in viewership, wait a few minutes and refresh your dashboard before concluding that something is wrong.
Check your analytics dashboard
Navigate to thevport.com/creator and open the Analytics section. Make sure you are looking at the correct date range. A common mistake is having the date filter set to a different period than expected, which can make totals appear higher or lower than they should be.
How views are counted
VPORT counts a "view" only after a viewer has watched at least 30 seconds of sustained playback. Scrubbing through a video or brief previews do not count toward your view total. This means your view count may be lower than the number of people who clicked on your video, which is normal behavior.
If numbers still seem wrong
If you have checked the date range, waited for any processing delay, and the numbers still appear significantly off, take a screenshot of the discrepancy and submit a support ticket at thevport.com/support. Include the video title, the date range in question, and what numbers you expected versus what you see. This helps the support team investigate quickly.
