I'm locked out after too many failed attempts
If you have entered an incorrect password multiple times, your VPORT account will be temporarily locked as a security precaution. This protects your account from unauthorized access attempts.
What happens after failed login attempts
After 5 consecutive failed login attempts, your account is automatically locked for 15 minutes. During this lockout period, you will not be able to sign in even with the correct password. This is a standard security measure to prevent brute-force attacks on your account.
How to regain access
Wait the full 15 minutes for the lockout to expire, then try signing in again with the correct password. Make sure your caps lock is off and that you are entering the right credentials. If you cannot remember your password, reset it at thevport.com/reset-password — you can request a reset link even while your account is locked. Once you reset your password, the lockout may be lifted immediately.
Still locked after resetting your password?
If your account remains locked even after a successful password reset, there may be an additional security hold on your account. Contact the support team at thevport.com/support and include your account email address so the team can manually review and unlock your account.
