Someone accessed my account — what should I do?

If you suspect unauthorized access to your VPORT account, act immediately to secure it and prevent further damage. Follow the steps below in order.

Step 1: Change your password

Go to thevport.com/reset-password and reset your password right away. Choose a strong, unique password that you do not use on any other service. This will sign out anyone currently using your account.

Step 2: Enable two-factor authentication

After changing your password, go to thevport.com/account and navigate to Security, then enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). This adds an extra layer of protection by requiring a verification code each time you sign in.

Step 3: Review your account activity

Check your account for any unauthorized changes or activity. Visit thevport.com/wallet to review your transaction history for any charges you do not recognize. Also check whether your profile information, email address, or linked payment methods have been altered.

Step 4: Contact VPORT support

Reach out to thevport.com/support immediately. Include your account email address and describe what happened — mention any unauthorized transactions, profile changes, or suspicious activity you noticed. The VPORT team will freeze suspicious activity on your account and investigate the incident, typically within 24 hours.
