Managing Events
Events are the primary content unit in the Creator Studio. Each event represents a concert, festival, or performance that you want to publish on VPORT. This guide covers the My Events page, the event creation flow, and how videos fit into the process.
My Events
When you open the Events section, you land on the My Events page. The heading reads "My Events" with the subtitle "Create and manage your events." A search bar at the top lets you filter through your event list by name.
In the top-right corner, a purple + Create Event button starts the event creation flow. Below the controls, your events are displayed as a grid of cards. Each card shows the event thumbnail image, the event title, its scheduled date, and the location where it takes place.

Creating an Event
Click the + Create Event button to open the event creation form. You will fill in the following details:
- Name -- The title of your event as it will appear to viewers on the platform.
- Description -- A detailed summary of the event. Use this to describe the lineup, theme, or anything else your audience should know.
- Start Date -- The date and time the event begins.
- End Date -- The date and time the event concludes.
- Venue -- Select an existing venue from your registered venues. If you have not created a venue yet, see the Artists & Venues guide.
- Visibility -- Toggle the event between public and private. Private events are only visible to you until you choose to publish them.
- Event Type -- Specify whether the event is a live stream, a VOD recording, or another supported format.
- Thumbnail -- Upload an image that will serve as the event preview card in listings.
- Banner -- Upload a wider image used as the event hero banner on its detail page.
Fill in the required fields and save to create the event. You can return to edit it at any time.
My Videos
The My Videos page has the heading "My Videos" with the subtitle "Manage your uploaded video content." However, videos in Creator Studio are not uploaded independently. They are created as part of the event creation and instance workflow.
If you have not yet created any events with video content, the page displays an empty state message: "No videos yet -- Videos are uploaded as part of event creation." A purple + Create Event button is provided so you can go directly to the event creation flow to start adding video content.

Editing and Deleting Events
To edit an existing event, click on its card in the events grid. This opens the event detail view where you can modify all fields from the creation form, manage event instances, and update media assets.
To delete an event, open its detail view and select the delete option. You will be asked to confirm before the event is permanently removed. Deleting an event also removes any associated event instances and video content, so proceed with caution.
